How to make a thread to complain (full instructions inside)

Since the addition of Ursan and the recent buff of SF a number of threads have been posted to point out just exactly how these skills are bad for guildwars (if not the universe in general!).

To save time in the future anyone wishing to make a similar thread may wish to use the tried and tested formula used below by the last 1000 ppl to whine about skills in Guildwars:-


Thread Title

I think is

1) Godmode
2) Destroying the economy
3) Killing Guid Wars

Body of text

1) Open with the obligatory "this is not a : rant/petition/pink fluffy bear" statement. (courtesy of Sleeper Service)

Based on whatever skill and reason(s) you placed in the thread title just post a general rant about the skill

Things to remember

1)In the body of text you must remember to continually place options 1-3 in justification of your argument, the more you do so, the stronger your argument.

2)Don't forget to mention numerous times that you don't actually use the skill yourself but want it nerfed for the good of everyone else.

3)Regardless what anyone says continue to whine about the skill and ignore any comments in favour of it

4)A good tip that many seem miss is also NOT to post in any other corresponding but opposite type threads, Ex: "Skill X is killing GW " and "Skill X is so frikin awsome". (courtesy of Sleeper Service)



That is it! if you follow the above template, you can have a similar flame & troll thread of your very own.

That thread is nothing but whining. People can't accept this game has gone down the pan, and Anet won't change that because someone write a nice flowery post. All the sheep just posted /signed.

Nobody is ever "Happy" in an MMO, they all suck pretty much equally, and AoC is no different, rather dissapointing I've heard.

You should also make sure to include some generally upheld platitudes about just anything, neatly packaged as their own little paragraph.

This will generate countless 'QFT' and /signed post, thereby keeping your complaint thread comfortably on the first page for a long long time.

Riverside is for game discussion - topics related to Guild Wars. This is forum discussion.

The difference is rather astounding.

well this is a topic related to topics discussing GW, or maybe a topic related to a topics whining about GW, so I would class it closer to a topic discussing game discussion that I would as a topic discussing forum discussion, either way it is at least as relevant as the threads that it mocks

If you are astounded by the difference in the 2 thread types then I would suggest that you slowly back away from the computer, turn 180 degrees and find the nearest door to exit into the outside world where-in you will be constantly astounded by things like ppl, weather, fresh air etc...
